Being a stay at home dad brings innumerable examples of fuzzy warmth but it also means that Mrs View From a Daddy ‘goes down the pit’ or ‘stands at the chalk face’ for long hours each day.
The advantage is, of course, that each six weeks or so there is a light at the end of her tunnel and boy do we need it. This half term has been all about regrouping! We’ve lay in, gone to bed later, played out, planted seeds, baked, eaten mountains of cake, read books, caught up with family and friends and laughed a lot.
I’m one of the lucky ones who gets to savour every moment of my little lady’s growing time. This week has been all about just that. Happy half term everyone. Here’s a clunk of the coffee cups to ‘regrouping’.
